Taste Profile: A fascinating white wine with a refreshing texture, blending fresh fruit citrus flavours with savoury notes and complex sensations on the palate.
Winemaking Process: A portion of the harvest undergoes skin fermentation for up to 30 days, while the rest consists of free-run juice that is barrel fermented. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is blended and aged for six months in mature French oak.
From the limestone character of Sancerre to the green, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc of Marlborough, this style group often shows off cut grass and wet stone. Often associated with coastal regions or limestone based terroir, these wines are characterised with crisp acidity, mineraiity, citrus tones, with a hint of grassiness
