Description

The Poniente wind is a warm and dry westerly or northwesterly wind blowing in the Straits of Gibraltar and along the coasts of the north-western Mediterranean

Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Carinena & Garnacha from high altitude vineyards grown on clay stoney soils in Aragon, Spain

Taste Profile: Garnacha gives the fruit, the sweet aromas and flavors. Cariñena gives the wine structure and seriousness and power

Deep red ruby in color, it has a perfumed nose of red fruits, dried raspberry & floral notes of lavender & licorice, with undertones of sweet spice, cocoa & ash. Firm and pretty expressive, with a medium to full body and a flavorful finish

Winemaking Process: Spontaneous ferment done separately, and then blended & matured in French oak. Bottled unfiltered
