Sexto Elemento is a tiny production estate with a key focus on one of Spain's underrated grape varietals - Bobal. Rafa Lopez took over the family farm in 2000. Instead of selling their fruit to the cooperatives like generations before him, Rafa decided to produce a powerful & elegant style of Bobal, as compared to the mediocre quality of the cooperatives
Scarce rainfall, hot summers, and bitter cold winters help to create a perfect situation for the thick-skinned Bobal variety, and at Rafa's mere 6-hectare estate, he only yields 1-1.5 kg per vine on average. An annual production of just 10,000 bottles makes these exclusive wines of Sexto Elemento a cult-style production, with the power and elegance to be one of the most coveted in all of Spain.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Bobal. This wine is born in the oldest vineyards of the Mediterranean mountains in the interior in the province of Valencia, from century old vine Bobal grown on clay calcareous soils

Taste Profile: Dark ruby color with intense and suggestive aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of fruit reds very well harmonized with spicy notes. Friendly and soft with a great concentration of fruit, succulent. It finishes with a very delicate mineral preened with fine spicy sensations. Ripe tannins and very well integrated with a seductive acidity very well balanced

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
