Domaine Deux Roches Mâcon-La Roche Vineuse "Sur Le Fil" Tradition AOP 2024
Made by two childhood friends who married two sisters and built a Mâconnais estate together.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from the Mâconnais in Burgundy, France, farmed from the domaine's base in the village of Davayé.
Taste Profile: A brilliant yellow hue with green reflections. A complex nose of fresh fruits such as apricot and peach. Ample, well-balanced and lively on the palate, culminating in a mineral, tangy finish.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are harvested and gently pressed using pneumatic presses to preserve their aromatic finesse. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with malolactic fermentation depending on the vintage, and the wine ages on fine lees until spring to build texture and complexity.
Winemaker: Domaine des Deux Roches was founded in 1985 by childhood friends Christian Collovray and Jean-Luc Terrier, who grew even closer when they married two sisters, Brigitte and Florence. The estate takes its name from the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson that flank the property; from the outset, Christian has tended the vines while Jean-Luc runs the cellar and commercial side of the business.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
