Cantine Volpi Moscato Piemonte DOC 2024
Four generations of the Volpi family have been coaxing Piedmont's most joyful Moscato out of the Tortona hills since two teenagers bought an old inn in 1914.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Muscat (Moscato) from the Tortona hills of Piedmont, Italy, under the Piemonte Moscato DOC.
Taste Profile: A glinting golden yellow, pleasant and easy to drink, with light bubbles — fizzier than a spritz but short of a full sparkle. Rose and elderflower florals lead, with sweet peach, crisp apple, ripe lemon and honey. Medium-sweet and crunchy on the palate, balanced by refreshing acidity — basically a sorbet in wine form.
Winemaking Process: Fermented in stainless steel using the gentle, low-temperature tank method typical of Piedmont's aromatic Moscato, preserving the grape's fresh florals and delicate fizz.
Winemaker: Cantine Volpi was founded in 1914 when teenagers Secondo and Giovanni bought an old Tortona inn and began selling wine by the glass. Four generations on, the family is represented by Carlo Volpi, with wife Laura and son Marco (the fifth generation) joining in 2020 — a business that now produces over 4 million bottles a year, exported to 35 countries.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
