Tenuta Carleone di Castiglioni was first mentioned in the year 1078 when monks first founded it in Chianti, named for the village of Castiglioni meaning “small castle.” The property is a romantic vision of wooded hills, rivers, and fertile plains
Taste Profile: Bright ruby red with cherry-red reflections, typical of young Sangiovese. Fresh sour cherry, redcurrant and violet, accompanied by subtle herbal notes and a hint of Mediterranean spices. On the palate, juicy and lively with present acidity, red fruit flavours, fine tannins and a medium body with a pleasant freshness on the finish
Winemaking Process: Fermented in stainless steel, cement and open bins. Maceration: 40-60 days. Ageing: 18 months in stainless steel and cement

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
