Seghesio Family Vineyards Sonoma Zinfandel 2022
Five generations and 125+ vintages deep, this is the Zinfandel of a family that's been doing it since 1895.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Zinfandel, blended from vineyards across Sonoma Valley, Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley — 55% estate grown, 45% sourced from long-standing grower relationships across Sonoma County, California.
Taste Profile: An expressive burst of deep dark fruit leads into layered red fruit and a soft, luscious mid-palate. Juicy and vibrant, with notes of mint, sarsaparilla and fresh plum interwoven with supple, textured tannins and acidity through a long, complex finish.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested in small lots across more than 100 individual fermentations, letting each vineyard block express its own character. Fermented on the skins for 7 to 12 days using a mix of pump-over, punch-down and rotary tank techniques, then aged 10 months across new and neutral American and French oak.
Winemaker: Seghesio traces back to 1895, when Italian immigrant Edoardo Seghesio planted his first Zinfandel at what's now the Home Ranch Vineyard in Alexander Valley. His wife Angela kept the winery running after his death, and the family spent decades as one of Sonoma's biggest bulk producers before refocusing on quality in 1993. Five generations later, Seghesio farms roughly 300 acres and remains one of Sonoma's defining Zinfandel producers.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
