Peay Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Cep Vineyards 2021
A true Sonoma Coast Sauvignon Blanc, grown on a ridge four miles from a very cold Pacific.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Peay's Cep Vineyards, sitting on a ridge above a river gorge in the northwestern corner of the "true" Sonoma Coast, just four miles from the Pacific Ocean, where the cool climate and long hang time preserve bright acidity and aromatic intensity.
Taste Profile: Vibrant on the nose with citrus, lemongrass and a hint of honeydew melon. Crisp and clean on the palate, with flavours of lime, grapefruit and green apple balanced by refreshing acidity and minerality. Lovely as an aperitif, or alongside seafood, salads and light pasta.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested and made with precision to showcase the site's terroir, with a limited production of only 819 cases underscoring its small-lot, handcrafted approach.
Winemaker: Peay Vineyards was founded in 1996 by brothers Nick and Andy Peay, who bought 280 acres on the Sonoma Coast and planted the vineyard's first blocks in 1998. Nick's wife, winemaker Vanessa Wong — trained at Château Lafite-Rothschild and Domaine Jean Gros — left her post at Peter Michael Winery in 2001 to make Peay's first vintage, with Nick overseeing viticulture and Andy running the business.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
