Grape Varietals & Region: Blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon & Marselan from Ningxia, China.
Founded in 2017, ex-sommelier Ian Dai Hongjing, is a travelling negoçiant / 'nomad winery' that produces idiosyncratic cuvées experimenting with extended maceration, alternative varieties, and multi-vintage blending.
Directly translating to ‘Little Garden’ , Xiao Pu wines are a product of nature, made with sustainable practices and respect for the land and its people. Ian Dai works with long-term partners who share the vision of sustainable agriculture and modern farming philosophies.
Taste Profile: Very dense, generous dark fruit, brimming with juicy blackberries and cherries, hoisin sauce, Chinese five spice, and a black bean savouriness
Winemaking Process: Minimal intervention brewing method, natural fermentation, no adjustment of structure and flavor at all. The tannin, acidity, body and taste of the wine all come from the grape itself. Gentle extraction and barrel aging in neutral barrels for twenty-four months. Aged in bottle for ten months

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
