Vesztergombi "Csaba" Cuvée 2017
A family whose coat of arms proves they've been making wine in Szekszárd since the 1700s.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, hand-harvested from vineyards around Szekszárd, Hungary.
Taste Profile: A deep ruby colour with a complex aroma of dark berries, spice and subtle oak. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, with flavours of black cherry, blackcurrant and a hint of chocolate. Firm yet silky tannins provide a long, satisfying finish.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested grapes undergo traditional vinification with native yeast in stainless steel tanks, followed by 18 months of ageing in French oak barrels to build complexity and depth.
Winemaker: The Vesztergombi family has a centuries-old winemaking history in Szekszárd, where an ancestor, György Vesztergombi, once served as the town's first vineyard judge. The modern winery was re-established in 1991 by Ferenc Vesztergombi, who was named Hungary's Winemaker of the Year in 1993, and today three generations of the family work the estate together.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
