Latta Vino Nebbiolo Headwaters 2021
Fine, light-footed Nebbiolo from one of the most talented young producers in the country.
Grape Varietals & Region: Sourced beyond Owen's family vineyard in Ballarat, from the famed Malakoff vineyard in the Landsbrough region of the Pyrenees — some of the country's classiest Nebbiolo fruit. In Owen's hands, this fruit sings.
Taste Profile: A rustic wine with a gorgeous bouquet of rosewater and cranberry. The body is impressive, spicy with paprika and clove, ripe red stonefruits and a waft of chocolate to finish.
Winemaking Process: Whole bunch fermented in open concrete tanks, before basket pressing to 500L oak for 12 months.
Winemaker: Latta Vino is the project of Owen Latta, who works both his family's vineyard in Ballarat and select fruit from further afield, like the Pyrenees' Malakoff vineyard, to make small volumes of thoughtful, site-driven wine.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
