Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Shiraz from The Armagh in Clare Valley, Australia.
In 1964 Jim Barry, and his wife Nancy, purchased 70 acres of prime farmland from their friend and neighbour, Duncan McRae Wood. On this special site they planted their first Shiraz vineyard. The McRae Wood Shiraz is made from grapes declassified from The Armagh and blended with fruit from special parcels from the family’s other Clare Valley vineyards
Taste Profile: Vibrant aroma of lifted violets, red currant, and perfectly ripe back plum, combine with well-integrated spice and a hint of very smart oak hidden in the background. The palate has commanding fruit with a density that stands to attention. Effortless flow throughout with flavours of ripe plum and purple fruits and layered fine tannin.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
