Garbole Heletto Rosso Veneto IGP 2017
Made by two brothers who fermented their first vintage in their grandmother's shed.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, the classic varieties of the Valpolicella area, grown on the organically farmed hillside estate in Valle d'Illasi, east of Verona.
Taste Profile: A perfect balance of intensity, structure, body and softness. Intense ruby red colour, with rich aromas of red plums and cherries alongside notes of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, liquorice, balsamic and fresh mint. Full-bodied and dry on the palate, with good acidity for freshness and enveloping silky tannins.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested fruit is dried in a loft for 20–30 days before destemming and crushing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, and the wine ages in new large oak barrels for 3 years, followed by at least a year in bottle.
Winemaker: Garbole was founded by brothers Filippo and Ettore Finetto, who since 1994 have poured their efforts into winemaking on their family's Valpolicella land. Their first vintage, made in 2001, was fermented in the shed of their grandmother's house — a scrappy start for what has become one of the region's most distinctive organic estates.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
