Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Marselan from Shanxi, China. It is planted on the mineral rich Loess plateau
Due to the cold winter temperatures, vines here have to be manually buried underground each winter to survive the freezing Siberian winds and then uncovered every spring
Taste Profile: Expressive floral aromas, predominantly of violets. Opens with ripe red and black cherry fruits, balanced by silky, smooth tannins and an intense, persistent finish.
Winemaking Process: The cellar setup and style were heavily shaped by Jean-Claude Berrouet (the legendary former chief winemaker of Chateau Petrus), who consulted at Rongzi for a decade.
Grapes are entirely hand-picked and meticulously sorted to ensure only pristine, uniformly ripe fruit enters the fermentation vats. After traditional temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels. The maturation takes place inside a massive 16,100-square-meter natural loess cave system, which provides perfect, constant year-round temperature and humidity for structural development

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
