The perfect energy recharge — a modest budget, a big idea, and Mallorca's own native red grape.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 60% Callet-Fogoneu (Mallorca's native red grape), 20% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, grown on old vineyards across the Balearic Islands, Spain.
Taste Profile: Bold and expressive, with ripe red and black fruit, mild tannins and an earthy undertone of warm spice — deep in colour, intense in aroma, and easy to drink with most food.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are hand-harvested, then carefully blended and fermented, ageing in oak barrels to build layers without overwhelming the fruit.
Winemaker: 4 Kilos Vinícola was founded in September 2006 by oenologist Francesc Grimalt and musician Sergio Caballero, who made their first wine in a friend's garage with just 4 million pesetas (4 “kilos”) between them — a modest budget that became a statement: that quality doesn't require a big one. Grimalt, previously a partner at Ánima Negra and an early champion of reviving Mallorca's native Callet grape, handles the winemaking, while Caballero — co-founder of the Sónar festival of advanced music — leads branding and communications. The pair soon acquired a small winery in Felanitx and began buying up old vineyards across the island.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
