Radford Dale Higher Purpose Cabernet Franc 2023
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Cabernet Franc from Elgin, South Africa. This comes from a single block planted in 2009
Taste Profile: This wine showcases the delicate character of the variety, revealing the finesse and depth that only cool climate conditions can produce. The vineyard’s maturity contributes to the wine’s layered and defined flavors. On the nose, you'll find dark blackcurrant, subtle hints of cardamom, and berry compote. The palate is refreshing and medium-bodied, with smooth, well-integrated tannins and a balanced structure that leads to a satisfying, mineral driven finish.
Winemaking Process: The grapes were all hand-picked early in the morning, loaded onto tractors and broughtinto our Organic cellar. The bunches were then hand-fed over a sorting table. Whole bunches and berries were placed into concrete eggs for 2 weeks for semi-carbonic maceration. The grapes were then pressed in the basket press, and the juice was moved back into a concrete egg to complete fermentation with a small portion into old oak. The wine was then assembled and bottled in January 2025.

Same Day Delivery is possible for orders between Tuesday - Sunday, and is conditional on whether we have the wines available at our storefront. Look out for products listed here
Select "Local Delivery" shipping option upon checkout, and orders made by 6PM would be able to be delivered same day

Otherwise, we provide a cheaper Standard Delivery option that would have your wines delivered within 3 business days

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
