Domaine Jessica Litaud "Les Pommards" Saint-Véran 2023
A five-year, ten-country journey away from Burgundy, and Jessica Litaud came home with a mentor's touch and her family's vines.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from the tiny 0.25-hectare "Les Pommards" parcel, planted with vines around 25 years old, at the foot of the Roche de Solutré in Vergisson, within the Saint-Véran appellation of southern Burgundy, France.
Taste Profile: Creamy, zesty and fresh, full of fruit and flowers, revealing shades of tangerine, white peach, marzipan and fleurs blanches in an expansive, open-knit style that's ready to enjoy right now. Incisive acidity, purity and even balance carry through to the finish.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested and carefully sorted to ensure only the finest fruit is used, then fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity and freshness of the fruit while letting the terroir shine through.
Winemaker: Jessica Litaud comes from a lineage of Burgundian winemakers but took the long way home, spending five years travelling across more than ten countries before returning in 2018 to her native village of Vergisson to take over part of the family estate. Along the way she trained under Jean-Marie Guffens and, most formatively, the legendary Jean-François Ganevat in the Jura — a mentorship whose stylistic hallmark still shows in her incisive, pure and beautifully balanced wines. She now farms just five hectares organically across Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
