"Côte" cuvées interpret the chalky minerality of the Côte de Sézanne, blessed by long lees age.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay. Emblematic cuvee of Le Brun de Neuville, this Blanc de Blancs is elaborated with all the different Crus of Côte de Sézanne, blessed by a long ageing on lees. This is the first place in Champagne to harvest, and the riper style of the region comes through in this Meursault like cuvée.
Taste Profile: This has aromas of dried pineapple, lemon, ripe pear, hazelnut and biscotti. It’s medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and a focused and subtly saline palate. Silky bubbles and a sleek, flavorful finish. Excellent length, too
Winemaking Process: Includes 25% reserve wines, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks & 25% oak barrel fermentation. Bottled & aged on lees for 48 months before release.
From buttery brioche to baked apple and toast, this style encapsulates vintage Champagnes and other aged sparkling wines from around the world
The key element of the traditional method is secondary fermentation in the bottle, often achieved by adding a liqueur de tirage to the base wine. The end result is a soft, fine bubly mouthfeel
WINES FROM UNIQUE REGIONS & BOUTIQUE WINERIES
Founded in 2019, we were bored with the typical Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Amarone & Moscato offerings at most bars & restaurants, and were inspired to dive deeper into the wine world!
