While Orpheus could bend the world to his will, and charm all living things with music and song, he could not convince the Raven to reveal to him the Light.
The Light that would allow him to see the past and the future at once, so that he could understand the present.
As he watched the cunning Raven dancing to his musical charms, the bird cried: ‘Orpheus, never look back!’ – revealing to him glimpses of light hidden in plain sight behind the darkness of his raised wings.
Their story is not just a fable, but a reflection of the human experience—urging us to fix our gaze on the horizon, not dwelling on the shadows of the past, but embracing the radiant possibilities ahead.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chenin Blanc from a vineyard planted in 1973.
Taste Profile: Chenin lovers will enjoy how the aromas emerge strikingly: freshly sliced nectarine complemented by a touch of Malden salt, embroidered with finer nuances of quince, ripe orange, nartjie, grapefruit and blossoms evocative of these fruits.
Ripe fruit, oak and lees contact imparts a creamy texture with an ever-present salinity. Herbal notes of fennel and lime leaves adds a savoury sheen for a delightful contrast.
Winemaking Process: After handpicking, a portion of the juice was pumped to an amphora for a wild ferment, while the balance was inoculated and sent to barrel for fermentation. The wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation in barrel, and spent a total of 12 months in maturation vessels.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
