Cantele Primitivo Puglia "Cantele" IGP 2021 is a captivating red wine that showcases the bold and robust nature of Primitivo grapes from the renowned Puglia region. With its rich flavors and expressive character, this wine offers a memorable drinking experience.
Grape Varietal & Region: This wine is crafted from 100% Primitivo grapes, a native variety to the Puglia region in southern Italy. Puglia is known for its warm climate and fertile soils, which contribute to the intensity and depth of the grapes. Grapes are harvested from vineyards in Sava (Taranto), Torricella (Taranto), San Pietro Vernotico (Brindisi)
Taste Profile:
The minerality of the nose creates a delicate combination of morello and sour cherry and prune. Cantele Primitivo is a true expression of the grape's character. It boasts ripe and juicy black fruit flavors, such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by hints of spice and a touch of earthiness. The wine's velvety tannins and well-balanced acidity provide structure and a lingering finish.
Winemaking Process: The harvest takes place in the first days of September. After crushing and destemming, the must remains in maceration with the skins for 6-7 days. The fermentation temperature is kept within 25-26 ° C. At the end of fermentation the wine stays in barriques for about 6 months.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
