A century-old Barossa variety, picked first each year and made on equipment nearly as old as the vines.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Frontignac, an original Barossa variety that has survived over 100 years of economic boom and bust. It is harvested earliest each year from Rockford's vineyards in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, and made using equipment from the turn of the last century.
Taste Profile: Floral Muscat aromatics with flavours of crunchy new-season green apples. A fresh, low-alcohol wine with a balanced palate, crisp acidity and a clean apple finish.
Winemaking Process: Handmade using century-old equipment at Rockford's Krondorf winery in the Barossa Valley, in keeping with the estate's traditional, minimal-intervention approach.
Winemaker: Rockford was founded by Robert O'Callaghan, who bought the old stone winery buildings in the village of Krondorf in 1971 — many built in the 1850s from local stone — and released his first vintage in 1984. After training at Seppelt in the 1960s and watching the Barossa's old vines pulled out during the modernisation era of the 1970s, O'Callaghan set out to preserve the region's traditional, hand-made winemaking style, still using century-old equipment at Rockford today.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
