Domaine Maurice Tremblay Chablis 1er Cru 'Beauroy' 2023
Two families started planting these vines around 1850, and their descendants are still the ones making the wine.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from the Beauroy premier cru, one of Chablis's classic left-bank climats. Around 1850, Maurice Tremblay and Honoré Geoffroy began planting vines together around Beine in the Chablis appellation — the start of a family project that's now spanned more than 170 years and multiple generations of both families across the region.
Taste Profile: Pale, light gold with slight greenish glints. A rich, floral bouquet gives way to a full, round palate with real complexity, finishing with finesse and mellowness rather than a hard edge. It carries noticeably more body and fruit than a straight village Chablis, while keeping the steely backbone the region is known for.
Winemaking Process: The wine is predominantly vinified in stainless steel to preserve its freshness, with a portion aged in wood to add the extra weight and roundness that sets a premier cru like Beauroy apart from Chablis's entry-level bottlings.
Winemaker: Two generations after the domaine's 1850 founding, Alain Geoffroy took over and expanded the vineyard holdings while keeping the family's style intact. Today his two daughters helm the estate, continuing a project that's stayed in the same two intertwined families since the mid-19th century — the Tremblay name, in fact, runs through several of Chablis's best-known winemaking families.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
