Verdeca, not to be confused with Verdelho — but so good and inviting!
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Verdeca from 15-20 year old vines planted across Manduria, Puglia, Italy.
Taste Profile: Bright golden yellow, with delicious aromas of hawthorn and acacia, cedar and yellow grapefruit, alongside mineral and saline notes and a blossomy note lingering on the finish. Fresh and savoury on the palate, with a citrus aftertaste and good persistence.
Winemaking Process: Direct press into stainless steel vats, where the wine is fermented at controlled temperature and aged.
Winemaker: Produttori di Manduria is the oldest active wine cooperative in Puglia, first established in 1928 as the Federazione Vini di Manduria and formally incorporated as a cooperative in 1932. Manduria is considered the birthplace of the native Primitivo grape, which the Italian government recognised with its own DOC appellation in 1974, and Primitivo remains the cooperative's central focus, accounting for over 60% of the vineyards it farms. Today around 400 small growers work some 900 hectares between them, averaging just 2.25 hectares per member, allowing each grower to tend their vines largely by hand with close attention to quality — a managerial stability reflected in the cooperative having had only five chairmen across its first 75 years.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
