Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Viognier from the lieu-dit La Rosine, a southernmost side valley right next to Côte Rôtie, in the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes, Northern Rhône, France. The fruit grows on steep slopes a short distance from Condrieu, the world's most prestigious Viognier appellation, giving this wine all the depth and concentration of its famous neighbour. Much of Ogier's success beyond Côte Rôtie is owed to his exploration and development of long-ignored areas of Vin de Pays in the Northern Rhône, with La Rosine being his most celebrated discovery
Taste Profile: A vivid, fresh, and comforting Viognier showing notes of pears, bergamot, dried lemons, and quince peel with some white peaches. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity and a supple texture, with white fruit and white flowers mingling in the caressing finish. This wine explodes with notes of orange blossom and apricot, displaying great depth and opulence with just enough backbone to balance the showy fruits. Rated 91pts by James Suckling. Best enjoyed with crustaceans, creamy cheeses, or roasted chicken
Winemaking Process: Grapes are hand-harvested with a double sorting process — first in the vineyard and again on the sorting table in the winery — before direct pressing. Fermentation takes place in barrels and foudres using native yeasts only. The final blend combines barrel- and tank-fermented wine, preserving both the richness of oak-influenced fermentation and the freshness of stainless steel

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
