Cecchi La Mora Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC 2024
Coastal Tuscany in a glass — sun-warmed stone fruit, salty sea breeze, and a finish that lingers like a perfect summer afternoon.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Vermentino, from the Maremma Toscana DOC — the wild, sun-drenched coastal strip of southern Tuscany, Italy. La Mora is produced with grapes grown along the coast of warm and sunny Tuscany, where the maritime influence brings a natural freshness and salinity to the variety. Vinification takes place in white, with cold pre-fermentation maceration, and the wine is refined for at least two months in bottle before release.
Taste Profile: Fresh and fruity, with candied lemons, white stone fruit, and orange blossoms on the nose. The palate is juicy and full of character, with a medium body and lively acidity coming through, and a zesty, flavourful finish. Juicy tropical and citrus fruit flavours mingle with pleasant minerality, making it a wonderful aperitif or partner to seafood. Rated 89pts by James Suckling. Best served well chilled at 8–10°C. Drink now through 2027.
Winemaking Process: Vinification takes place in white, with cold pre-fermentation maceration to preserve the fresh aromatic character of the Vermentino grape. Fermentation takes place over 15 days at a controlled 15°C, followed by at least two months of bottle refinement before release. The result is a wine of bright, clean fruit with a characteristic slightly bitter, mineral finish — the hallmark of well-made Vermentino from the Tuscan coast

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
