Two Hands "Bella's Garden" Shiraz 2022
Started at a friend's engagement party in 1999 by two guys who decided it was time to make their own wine and take it to the world.
Grape Varietals & Region: Blended from the best barrels of Shiraz sourced across the Barossa Valley, predominantly grown in the red-brown earth of the Barossa's Western Ranges — a soil profile that builds masculine tannins and richness right through the palate.
Taste Profile: Full-bodied but very buoyant. Bright flavours lifted by notes of fresh blue and blackberry with hints of plum, and creamy complexity through the palate. Tannins start mid-palate and leave a lovely rolling, chewy texture. Spicy through the finish with vanilla and sweet baking spices, while classic Barossa notes of coal dust weave through the late palate — long and complex.
Winemaking Process: Aged 17 months in French oak hogsheads and puncheons, 14% of the oak new.
Winemaker: Two Hands was born in September 1999, when founders Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz sat at a friend's engagement party and decided it was time to make their own wine and market it to the world. Twelftree had already dipped a toe into the industry running a small export business for Australian wine; Mintz worked at a cooperage. Their first vintage, in 2000, ran to just 17 tonnes of fruit before quickly picking up acclaim from critics including Robert Parker and Wine Spectator. By the end of 2004 they'd built a purpose-made winery on the Barossa's Western Ranges, and Two Hands remains focused on the same founding goal: the best possible Shiraz-based wines from Australia's most prized growing regions.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
