Don't be fooled by the 12.5% alcohol — this is a full-bodied, rich glass of red wine from Israel's Upper Galilee.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Shiraz from an outstanding plot in the Upper Galilee, Israel — part of Recanati's Upper Galilee Series, built to spotlight the region's finest individual growing sites and classic varieties.
Taste Profile: Gorgeous deep ruby red with violet hues. Distinct Shiraz aromas of dark plum, violets, lavender and black pepper, with a hint of spicy oak. Robust flavours of black cherry, purple plum and ripe raspberry meet cassis, mocha, tobacco, nutmeg and oak spice. Refreshing, with a velvety mouthfeel and soft tannins.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are harvested and transported to the winery in the early morning, then destemmed without crushing. Fermentation runs 7–10 days, with a percentage of whole berries retained, before ageing in French oak.
Winemaker: Recanati was founded in 2000 by banker Lenny Recanati and Uri Shaked, with the goal of making Israeli wine judged on quality alone — not simply as kosher wine. Over the years the winery has identified its finest growing plots across the Upper Galilee, and this series is built to showcase the individual character and complexity each site brings to classic varieties.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
