Manvi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano "Arya" DOCG 2022
A Canadian-Swiss couple of Indian heritage traded their banking careers for an organic vineyard, and named the estate after their hometown back in India.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Sangiovese from Manvi's organic vineyards in the southern sector of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG in Tuscany, Italy, grown without chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides.
Taste Profile: Elegant ruby red in the glass. A complex nose of ripe plum, pepper and other spices carries through to a rich, elegant palate, closing on a long, spicy finish.
Winemaking Process: Fruit is harvested by hand, selecting only the best bunches. No yeasts are added, in keeping with the estate's aim of making a wine that truly represents Tuscany. The wine ages 24 months in French oak barrels, then a further year in bottle.
Winemaker: Puru and Sudha Manvi, a Canadian-Swiss couple of Indian origin, left banking careers behind to chase a shared dream of making wine in Tuscany, taking over the estate in October 2015 and renaming it Manvi after their hometown in India. They committed to maintaining the organic certification the property had held since 2003, making theirs one of the oldest continuously certified organic estates in Montepulciano, and now produce around 30,000 bottles a year built around Sangiovese alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malvasia.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
