A single family, four generations deep, still working the same vineyards Salvador Urbina planted in 1870.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Tempranillo and Graciano from vineyards on the north-western edge of Rioja, Spain — an area known for producing wines with a great capacity for ageing.
Taste Profile: Medium crimson colour, with an aromatic array of cedar, tobacco, spice, cherry and black raspberry. Deliciously smooth with ripe damson fruit and a touch of mint from the oak, showing an elegant personality, ample juicy fruit, some structure and a silky finish.
Winemaking Process: Matured 12 months in American oak, followed by a further 6 months resting in bottle before release.
Winemaker: Bodegas Urbina was founded in 1870 by Salvador Urbina in Cuzcurrita de Rio Tiron, on Rioja's north-western edge. The winery passed down through his children Paquita and Ciriaco, and later Pedro and Jesus Angel, before a new cellar and stainless steel tanks arrived in 1986 to blend tradition with modern technique. Today a fourth generation leads the estate, combining academic wine training with decades of hands-on vineyard experience across 75 hectares of family-owned vines.

Same Day Delivery is possible for orders between Tuesday - Sunday, and is conditional on whether we have the wines available at our storefront. Look out for products listed here

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
