Bock Kékfrankos Selection 2017
Nine generations of one family, still farming the same corner of Villány.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Kékfrankos (also known as Blaufränkisch), Hungary's indigenous red grape, from old vineyards in Villány.
Taste Profile: A deep ruby colour with complex aromas of dark berries, spices and earth. Rich fruit flavours, an elegant structure and a long, lingering finish.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested from old vineyards, carefully sorted and fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. The wine ages 12 months in Hungarian oak barrels to add complexity and depth.
Winemaker: The Bock family has grown vines and made wine in Villány since 1850, passing the craft down through nine generations. József Bock started with just half a hectare and has since grown the estate to 145 hectares producing 36 different wines, championing indigenous Hungarian varieties like Kékfrankos alongside international ones.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
