Moschopolis "Aióra" White 2021
Named for an ancient Dionysian swing festival, celebrating the year's new wine.
Grape Varietals & Region: 65% Assyrtiko, 15% Xinomavro and 20% Malagousia. The Assyrtiko comes from Santorini and the Aegean islands, the Xinomavro from Northern Greece, and the Malagousia from Moschopolis' own vineyard at 230 metres altitude, just a few miles from the sea.
Taste Profile: A full bouquet of pear, peaches, lemon and lime citrus with a hint of orange blossom, following through to a medium-bodied palate with refreshing acidity and plenty of mineral undertones. Ageing potential of 2–5 years.
Winemaking Process: Hand-picked into small 15–20kg crates in the early morning or late night at the lowest possible temperatures, then held in a cold room for 12 hours at 6°C. Crushed at a controlled 8°C for up to 24 hours, fermented with natural yeasts, and aged Sur Lie on fine lees for 4 months. No filtering before bottling.
Winemaker: Moschopolis was founded in 2016 by viticulturist Dr. Giorgos Germanis, together with his son-in-law Dimitris and children Aliki and Theodoris, continuing the legacy of his father, agronomist Dr. Theodoros Germanis, who spent decades researching Greece's indigenous grape varieties. The estate farms organic vineyard sites near Thessaloniki and in the mountainous Kastoria region.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
