Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Carignan from Provence, France. The fruit comes from 35 and 50 year-old vines grow on clay-limestone, sandy-loam and stony soils that is located 250 meters above sea level
Taste Profile: Pale pink in color, with aromas of currants, blackcurrant buds and acacia. The palate unfolds a nice volume and a pleasant roundness on flavours of orchard fruits and ripe red fruits. The whole is balanced between richness, vivacity and greed, until the finish with a delicate iodine tension
Winemaking Process: Harvest at dawn to preserve the freshness of the grapes and avoid oxidation. Skin maceration for a few hours before pressing. Stablisation for several days. Fermentation at low temperature (12°C). Racking after alcoholic fermentation and ageing in stainless steel vats on fine lees
Provence rose is going to be the classic representation of this wine style. Usually, these roses emit a salmon pink hue, and Cinsault is a common grape varietal to make these wines, but Syrah & Pinot noir are other rising varietals to produce wines in a similar style
