A rare white from an appellation famous for its reds, with barely 3,600 bottles made each vintage.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 35% Grenache Blanc, 35% Roussanne, 15% Clairette and 15% Bourboulenc grown in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in France's Rhône Valley — Bourboulenc adding just a pinch of seasoning to round the blend off.
Taste Profile: Vibrant citrus fruits, lemon and grapefruit, complemented by white flowers, honey and a touch of minerality. Crisp acidity, medium to full body and a long, refreshing finish.
Winemaking Process: Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc mature for 8 months in one-year-old Burgundy barriques, while Roussanne and Clairette age in steel tanks — a rare wine from the appellation, with only around 3,600 bottles produced per vintage.
Winemaker: Chateau de la Font du Loup has been in the Melia family since 1942, when they bought the estate as growers, selling their harvest to négociants until they began producing their own wine in 1979 under Charles Melia. Today his daughter, Anne-Charlotte Mélia Bachas, runs the estate with her husband Laurent Bachas, bringing organic farming and HVE Level 3 certification to a property whose name — "Fountain of the Wolf" — comes from local folklore about wolves drinking at its springs.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
