Domaine Ganevat

Jean-François Ganevat represents the 14th generation of vignerons of his family in Rotalier, in the south of Jura. After years working as the cellar master of Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, he took over his family’s estate in 1998

Description

Anne et Jean Francois Ganevat Mon Rouge 2023

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Gamay from the Chiroubles Beaujolais cru. This comes from Jean-Francois Ganevat's negociant range

Taste Profile: Very pretty red fruit with signature Ganevat savouriness coming through on the long, elegant palate. Juicy and enchanting with smoky undertones, this is precise and clean, mineral and delicate

Winemaking Process: Semi-carbonic maceration before two years in seasoned Burgundy barrels has done plenty.
