Unico Zelo "Alluvium" Fiano 2022
An ancient southern Italian grape, replanted in the Adelaide Hills and pushed to its acidic limit.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Fiano, an ancient grape native to southern Italy, sourced from selected vineyards in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia, where cool climate and diverse soils shape its character.
Taste Profile: Lemongrass, lime leaf and guava, with an incredible flinty, reductive edge. Grapefruit and quartz charge down the middle of the palate, with jasmine and nectarine trailing behind — a vivid expression of the Birdwood soil, with acid you could chew on for days.
Winemaking Process: Handpicked and gently pressed, then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve vibrant flavour and freshness, with a short maturation on lees adding complexity and texture.
Winemaker: Unico Zelo is the work of husband-and-wife duo Brendan and Laura Carter, based in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, focused on sustainable and minimal-intervention winemaking that expresses a genuine sense of place.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
