Garbole Heletto has a perfect balance of intensity, structure, body and softness. Intense ruby red colour. Rich aromas of red plums and cherries with notes of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, liquorice, balsamic and fresh mint. The aromas follow through to a full-bodied and dry palate characterised by a good degree of acidity for freshness and enveloping silky tannins.
Blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, classic varieties of the Valpolicella area.
Manual harvesting of the fruit. The fruit is dried in a loft for 20–30 days. After destemming and crushing, the must goes through fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine ages in new large oak barrels for 3 years and at least a year in bottle.
Deep, fruit-driven and jammy; filled with ripe, rich fruit and a plethora of spices. This style is typified by Australian Shiraz, Sonoma Zinfandel and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
