Shinas Estate The Executioner Blend 2020
The flagship blend from an eight-generation Greek winemaking family on the Murray River.
Grape Varietals & Region: 55% Shiraz, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Viognier, from premium vineyards on the outskirts of Mildura, Victoria, on the Murray River.
Taste Profile: Opaque burgundy to brick red, suggesting real extraction and a little maturity. A soft, rich nose of loamy herbal aromas developing into dark berries and mocha. Red cherry and berry fruit on the palate with a nice hit of spice — rich, but never heavy.
Winemaking Process: Irrigation is minimized to reduce cropping levels and enhance fruit quality, with fruit left on the vine well beyond traditional periods. The wine receives 2 years of barrel ageing and 1 year of bottle ageing before release.
Winemaker: The Shinas family's winemaking heritage stretches back eight generations in Greece, migrating to Australia in the early 1950s and settling near Mildura on the Murray River, where vines were first planted in 1898. The Executioner is the estate's flagship blend, built on the same boutique, minimal-intervention methods the family has passed down for generations.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
