Proof that a Varner Wine winemaker's side project can still make one of the best-value Cabernets in California.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from Paso Robles and the wider Central Coast, made under the Foxglove label since 1991.
Taste Profile: Aromas of dark fruit, black currant, and hints of cocoa and vanilla. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, with flavours of blackberry, black cherry and a touch of oak. Firm, well-structured tannins make this an ideal wine for aging, though it drinks beautifully young too.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks using traditional winemaking techniques, then aged 12 months in French oak barrels — a process that builds elegance and depth of flavour that continues to develop over time.
Winemaker: Foxglove is the more accessible label of Bob Varner, the winemaker behind the acclaimed Varner Wine in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Founded in 1991, Foxglove sources fruit from choice Central Coast sites to make wines that have repeatedly landed on the New York Times' list of best wines under $20.

Select "Local Delivery" shipping option upon checkout, and orders made by 6PM would be able to be delivered same day

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
