Silice Viticultores came about when a pair of brothers teamed up with a friend to rediscover their winemaking roots and preserve the historic vineyards around Barantes, Galicia. Silice oversees eight hectares of vines, planted on steep slopes
Grape Varietals & Region: Treixadura, Albariño, and Palomino from up north in the mountains of Galicia, Spain
Taste Profile: Classic & textural, pure refreshment, offering notes of green pear, apple and mineral-like acidity. Minimal SO2 used at bottling.
Winemaking Process: Barrel fermented and matured on the lees for 4 months. There's no lack of character here, or texture for that matter, yet the wine still glides
