Vingården i Klagshamn Textur 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: Made from Solaris, of vines about 20 years old. From the Gotland County in Sweden.

Taste Profile: Intense, bold dried stone fruit. Orange peel & Candied lemons, with earthy tones & an underscore of vegetal notes. Structured, with balanced tannins & fresh acidity.

Winemaking process: Skin macerated for 45 days. Fermented and stored in steel tanks.

Open tank fermentation, lees stirring, pumping over and racking can all play a role during vinification, while oxidative aging in allows gradual air contact with the wine. Oak barrels & concrete tanks are most often used for such styles, and the more intense styles are often made under flor
