A wine made by the vineyard crew, for the vineyard crew — with the profits going straight back to them.
Grape Varietals & Region: 70% Syrah, 15% Grenache and 15% Sangiovese, from small vineyard blocks — Cuadras — in California's Ballard Canyon that Stolpman crew members were trained to manage independently.
Taste Profile: Medium ruby-purple in the glass. Red berry and black plum aromas open with nuances of liquorice and violet or lavender. Deep-bodied, with juicy acidity and fine, chalky tannins; fresh black plum and red cherry sit above complementing floral notes.
Winemaking Process: Fruit comes from Cuadras that vineyard manager Ruben Solorzano trained Stolpman's crew members to farm as their own, giving each worker a small block to manage from vine to harvest.
Winemaker: When Tom Stolpman bought the land that became Stolpman Vineyards, he wanted the estate to benefit everyone working it, asking Ruben Solorzano to give crew members year-round, secure employment. Ruben went further, teaching the team the full lifecycle of the vine and handing each of them a Cuadra — a small block — to farm as their own. Once the crew had mastered vineyard management, Tom declared that all wine from their training Cuadra would go to the team themselves; profits are now returned to crew members by seniority, split between a year-end bonus and a weekly bonus on every paycheck.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
