Tabalí Talinay Pinot Noir 2024
One of the first wineries to bet on the Limarí Valley — now home to Chile's most distinctive limestone Pinot Noir.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from the Talinay vineyard in the Limarí Valley, one of Chile's northernmost wine regions, just 12km from the Pacific Ocean. Morning Camanchaca fog cools and moistens the vines while warm, dry afternoons ripen the fruit — a rhythm not unlike California's Napa Valley. The vineyard's calcareous, limestone-rich soils are a geological rarity in Chile, giving the wine its distinct mineral character.
Taste Profile: Clean, shining red colour. Fresh and distinctly earthy, with a long, crisp, fruity finish and a rich, textured, creamy mouth. Complex mineral notes sit alongside balanced red fruit, while an intense, citrusy nose carries passion fruit and green aromas. High acidity keeps everything fresh and alive.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested into 20kg bins at optimum phenolic ripeness. Careful selection, destemming, and fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with maceration following alcoholic fermentation. Aged 12 months in French oak.
Winemaker: Tabalí was founded in 2002 by Chilean businessman Guillermo Luksic Craig, drawn to the Limarí Valley by childhood memories of the area — his mother had studied at a school in nearby Ovalle. At the time, Limarí was largely unexplored territory for winemaking; Luksic's bet on it paid off, and the valley is now considered one of Chile's most exciting regions, with Tabalí among its most emblematic producers. In 2009 the estate acquired the Talinay vineyard, bordering the Fray Jorge National Park UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and today Tabalí is run by Guillermo's son Nicolás alongside CEO and chief winemaker Felipe Müller.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
