Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Nebbiolo, from the historic “Villero” cru in the town of Castiglione Falletto.
The wines here are known for structure, and come from a Hilly area at about 300 meters above sea level, where the fruit is planted on helvetian with clayey and calcareous sediments, rich in iron
Taste Profile: The color is an intense garnet red with ruby highlights, with a bright and lively appearance. The aroma is complex and rich with hints of fruit, flowers, spices, undergrowth, and plums. It has an intense flavor with sweet tannins and a lingering aftertaste.
Barolo Villero expresses its characteristic stimulating aroma accompanied by a dry, yet warm and elegant flavor that retains its freshness for a long time.
Barolo Villero, with its characteristics of structure and body, pairs well with meat dishes, game and mature cheeses, typical dishes of local cuisine, as well as many rich international dishes.
Winemaking Process: Traditional method of long maceration: natural fermentation without added yeasts for up to 40 days in stainless steel tanks
6 months in stainless steel tanks, 30 months in large capacity Slavonian oak barrels (35-50 hl) and subsequent refinement in bottle

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
