A house so respected that Krug, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger all buy their base wines from it.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay planted by over 500 growers on the prestigious chalk slopes of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of Champagne's 17 Grand Cru villages in the Côte des Blancs, where east-facing vineyards over a chalk base give the grapes excellent hydric balance.
Taste Profile: A blend of specially selected Chardonnay from different years. Straw gold in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. A delicate nose of lemon and brioche, with finesse and lightness despite a direct, full and firm attack on the palate — crisp green apple and lemon citrus layered with toasty brioche, almond, vanilla butter and cream.
Winemaking Process: 90% of the fruit comes from the current harvest, with 10% reserve wines blended in. The wine is bottled and aged for 4 years before disgorging as an Extra Brut.
Winemaker: Founded in 1937, Champagne Le Mesnil built its reputation on the exceptional chalk terroir of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, becoming a major supplier of base wines to some of Champagne's grandest houses while continuing to bottle its own cuvées under its own name.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
