Proof that a house famous for Lambrusco can do sweet, fizzy and floral just as well.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Malvasia di Candia aromatica, grown around Reggio Emilia in Emilia-Romagna, Italy — the same Via Emilia heartland that’s made the Medici family’s name synonymous with Lambrusco since 1890, bottled here instead as a Vino Spumante.
Taste Profile: Glowing straw yellow with a fine, persistent mousse. An intense bouquet of tropical fruit, white flowers and sage gives way to a sweet, fragrant palate — fizzy and fruit-driven, with finely balanced acidity that keeps the sweetness clean rather than cloying. Best served well chilled at 7–9°C alongside a sausage and cheese platter.
Winemaking Process: Vinified in stainless steel and finished as a Vino Spumante using the Charmat (tank) method, preserving the grape’s fresh aromatics and delicate carbonation without oak influence.
Winemaker: Medici Ermete was founded in 1890 by Remigio Medici, who built the estate around family vineyards between the Via Emilia and the Enza Valley. His son Ermete expanded the winery and gave it his name, and today the fifth generation — descendants of Alberto, Pierluigi and Alessandra Medici, who spearheaded a quality revolution in the 1980s — farms roughly 80 hectares organically across Emilia-Romagna, exporting to more than 70 countries.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
