Champagne Le Mesnil Grand Cru Brut Sublime 2015 1.5L Magnum
A magnum of white flowers, apricot and a whisper of vanilla, dosed light at 8g/L to stay lifted rather than lush.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru from the September 2015 harvest, grown across Le Mesnil-sur-Oger's chalk-soil vineyards in the heart of the Côte des Blancs — 100% of the village's plantings rank Grand Cru, giving this Chardonnay precision and cut even in a generous, riper vintage.
Taste Profile: Pale yellow with silver reflections. White flowers, almond, orange and apricot on the nose, backed by a whisper of cream and toast. The palate opens frank and well-balanced — gourmet citrus, clementine and orange especially, with a touch of delicate vanilla echoing the nose. Bright, defined acidity keeps the whole thing lifted rather than rich, even at magnum scale.
Winemaking Process: Harvested in September 2015, with 15% of the blend deliberately aged without malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness and lift. Tirage followed in 2016, with disgorgement in 2020 and a Brut dosage of 8g/L — light enough to let the vintage's natural generosity show without tipping into richness. Bottled here in 1.5L magnum, which slows the wine's ageing curve further still.
Winemaker: Le Mesnil is the trading name of the Union des Propriétaires Récoltants, a growers' cooperative founded in 1937 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Today it draws on roughly 600 growers farming around 300 hectares — 100% of it now classified Grand Cru. For decades the cooperative has quietly supplied base wines to some of Champagne's most prestigious houses, including Krug, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger, while also bottling its own cuvées under the Le Mesnil name since the 1950s.

Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
