Grape Varietals & Region: Blended from traditional white port varieties — mainly Viosinho, Gouveio, Rabigato, and Malvasia Fina — all grown at Quinta de la Rosa's estate in the Douro Valley, Portugal. The quinta's vines rise dramatically out of the river and climb up to 500m altitude, with terroir that delivers remarkable freshness and minerality.
Taste Profile: A beautiful amber-honey colour, with excellent fruit on the palate and a long, relatively dry finish. Aromatically, expect lemon rind, honeysuckle, beeswax, and a stony minerality, with a sleek, creamy texture, mellow citrus, golden apple, and a zesty, herb-tinged finish. True to the house style, it leans drier than most white ports — no cloying sweetness here. Rated 91pts by James Suckling. Best enjoyed chilled as an aperitif, or as a classic White Port & Tonic with ice and a slice of lemon.
Winemaking Process: The first pressings of the white grapes are taken off to make white wine. As the pH rises, the last approximately 10% of the juice is drawn into stainless steel vats for the white port. When the fermenting juice reaches 1° Beaumé, brandy is added to stop fermentation. The port is then stored in small wooden casks and matured at La Rosa's own lodge, with the final blend drawn from stocks averaging 2–3 years of age. Unlike most port shippers, all products are stored and bottled in the Douro — at La Rosa itself — ensuring full traceability and quality from grape to bottle

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
