Jurtschitsch Grüner Veltliner Terassen 2025
“Sweet creature, sweet creature, wherever I go, you bring me home” — the Jurtschitsch estate's entry-point Grüner is the bottle you reach for on a Tuesday and mean it.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Grüner Veltliner sourced from loess-soil vineyards across the Kamptal valley in Niederösterreich (Lower Austria), a cool-climate region known for producing Grüner with real cut and spice, not just easy fruit. Grapes are hand-harvested with vineyard sorting before a brief skin maceration.
Taste Profile: Pale yellow-green, dry and refreshing, with fresh apple and citrus zest up front and a peppery, savoury spice that carries through a clean, food-ready finish. Good with tandoori chicken, shabu shabu, or beef tartare.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are pressed gently with no pumping, then fermented slowly at around 18°C in stainless steel to preserve the delicate aromatics, with the wine finished and aged in steel tank.
Winemaker: Jurtschitsch is run by Alwin Jurtschitsch and his wife Stefanie Hasselbach (of the Gunderloch family in Rheinhessen), who've spent the last decade-plus pushing the Kamptal's natural wine movement forward — organic and biodynamic farming throughout, with no copper sulfate in the vineyards.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
