Ziereisen "Talrein" Spätburgunder 2019
A single-vineyard Pinot Noir from a father-and-son team farming Baden's cool hills.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) from the Talrein vineyard in Germany's Baden region, known for its cool climate and diverse soils.
Taste Profile: Aromas of ripe red cherries, blackberries and subtle spice and earth. Medium-bodied on the palate, with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, flavours of cranberry and raspberry intertwined with forest floor and a touch of smokiness, finishing long and smooth.
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, then fermented in large oak barrels with indigenous yeasts for a gentle extraction of flavour, before ageing in oak to add complexity and structure.
Winemaker: The Ziereisen family has been producing wine in Baden since the 19th century. Today Hanspeter Ziereisen and his son Johannes lead the estate, working meticulously across their vineyards with low-intervention, sustainable methods that let Baden's cool climate and diverse soils speak clearly through the wine.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
