The Prelude series of wines from Leeuwin Estate are supposed to be their more approachable wines, the ones you drink while the Art Series ages in the cellar.

Taste Profile: A fine and elegant entry leads to a combination of redcurrants, blueberries and dark cherries. The palate has energy and drive with salivating acid being the foundation. Cedar and cassia notes surround the deep core of fruit, finishing with dusty, graphite-like tannins.

Powerful modern reds with the ability to age. They tend to be very intense, with ripe fruit, firm tannins & drinkability either young or cellared.
